SALES TRAINER - S. WALES BASED - UK WIDE DELIVERY
Our client with their head office based in South Wales currently seek an experienced trainer from within the sales/customer service arena.
The Job Role will Include:
Working as an integral part of the Sales team, responsible for training and coaching both new and existing internal and external staff in all aspects of telephone and face to face sales techniques.
Responsible for delivering product training to ensure their staff have the necessary knowledge.
Particular emphasis will be placed on setting and maintaining exceptional sales standards in line with standard operating procedures and company reputation.
Key Duties:
Devise and utilise structured and effective coaching plans for delivery to all sales staff.
Produce a standard operating procedures induction manual and a glossary of terms; compile flowcharts and visual aids which forms the basis for all training undertaken by new & existing staff. Updating manual as and when new standard operating procedures are introduced.
Field based visits with Territory Sales Managers to review training needs and provide coaching to ensure a high level of competence and consistency in external staff
Effective induction of new staff by ensuring they are fully trained to undertake their new position
Identify training needs using available data, e.g. mystery shopper survey results, error reports and observation/feedback
Update staff Training Records and ensure identified training requirements are highlighted to the relevant manager
Run regular group training sessions as part of the monthly Sales meeting covering product and sales techniques.
Development, delivery and evaluation of group training courses
Work with HR to maintain internal processes and systems and provide accurate data in a timely manner for reporting purposes and actively participate in the investor in people process
Knowledge and Understanding Required:
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Administration/Record keeping skills
Excellent presentation skills
Additional Requirements:
A full driving licence is essential for this role as travel across the country is a requirement of the post.
Experience:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of sales systems, processes and evaluation methods
Previous experience of training of new and existing sales staff
Identification of training needs and analysis, evaluation of training
The suitable candidate will ideally need the following:
Recognised coaching qualification
Train the Trainer
Health Safety and Environmental Awareness
