Reporting to: Financial Director
Preparation of the monthly Management accounts including the month-end close off process
Preparation of the Financial accounts including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Responsible for stock reporting & control
Monthly stock management, updating to system, reviewing output & investigating variances
Daily monitoring of key product variances
Updating weekly WIP stocks
Identifying causes for variance
Treasury and Bank controls
PAYE returns and annual returns
Providing support in the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting
Responsible for all other statutory returns e.g. VAT, Intrastat, Government returns
The role will require occasional travel to Wales.
The role will suit a confident finance professional with a consistent track record,
Comfortable in the use of analytical applications / spreadsheets
· The ability to prepare detailed information accurately
· The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
· A self starter able to demonstrate initiative and commercial awareness
· It is unlikely that a candidate without experience of working in a Manufacturing company would be happy or successful in this role. Previous experience of preparing Management and Financial accounts and other financial reports in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a fast moving environment providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
