Our client currently have a new opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the Business Development and Marketing Department.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager the role will involve driving forward marketing activity in line with the firm’s strategy. As such the role will suit a person with strong marketing and communications experience, preferably from a professional services background with project management skills. The role will be varied and encompass the full marketing mix: events, advertising (traditional and online), SEO and online promotion, public relations, direct mail, sponsorship, and research.

The successful candidate will be tasked with executing the marketing plan for the claimant division and also within the team assist with firm wide activity when needed.

Duties will include:

Producing marketing collateral including product sheets, capability documents, event invitations, briefings and adverts and ensuring all material is kept up to date
Identifying and researching suitable current and topical issues
Write first drafts of articles and web releases
Organising and monitoring advertising campaigns
Assisting with ongoing SEO and web content development activity
Assisting with building the online presence of the firm
Co-ordinating direct mail initiatives and distribution of electronic updates
Co-ordinating and organising events and seminars
Helping to manage the firm wide CSR programme.
The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre with relevant academic or vocational qualifications at this level. Strong communication skills are required with an eye for detail and polished written, copy editing and proofing skills. They will need to have an understanding of online marketing techniques and processes, advanced research skills.

The successful candidate will be a competent user of MS Word and Outlook, experience of using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop would be advantageous

An understanding of the legal environment and experience of dealing with the legal press would be a distinct advantage

Some flexibility with regards to hours of work is required
