From the East

  1. Exit the motorway at junction 29, branch left (signposted Cardiff E and S) to join A48 (M).
  2. Continue along the A48, past junctions for Cardiff – East and Cardiff – West.
  3. Forward through underpass (still on A48).
  4. Continue straight through traffic lights (Tesco Extra will be on your left) and onto Western Avenue (UWIC University will be on your right).
  5. 70 metres after the next set of traffic lights (junction with A4119) turn left onto A4119 keeping in the left hand lane.
  6. Filter left at traffic lights and continue along A4119.
  7. Filter left at next set of traffic lights onto Penhill Road, continue straight onto Cathedral Road.
  8. Sophia House is located on the left just after the traffic lights / junction for Sophia Gardens.

From the West

  1. Exit the motorway at junction 32 (keeping in the right hand lane) and take the 4th exit off roundabout (signposted Cardiff A470).
  2. Join the A470 for 100 metres and continue straight through major traffic lights (by Whitchurch Golf Club) and onto Ashgrove Road.
  3. Continue straight onto Manor Way for 1.5 miles passing through 5 sets of traffic lights.
  4. At 5th set of traffic lights (Mujibs restaurant ahead of you) keep in the left hand lane (marked A48 M4) and travel around to the right heading for Gabalfa roundabout.
  5. Move into the right hand lane (do not go into lane for overpass as takes you into City Centre) and take the 4th exit off Gabalfa roundabout (signposted Cardiff Airport).
  6. Travel down the slip road to join the A48 and after 200 metres you will come to set of traffic lights.
  7. Continue straight through traffic lights (Tesco extra will be on your left) and onto Western Avenue (UWIC University will be on your right).
  8. 70 metres after the next set of traffic lights (junction with A4119) turn left onto A4119 keeping in the left hand lane.
  9. Filter left at traffic signals and continue along A4119.
  10. Filter left at next set of traffic signals onto Penhill Road, continue straight onto Cathedral Road.
  11. Sophia House is located on the left just after the traffic lights / junction for Sophia Gardens.

From Cardiff Central Station

  1. From Cardiff Central Station turn right up Wood Street.
  2. Take left down St Mary’s Street.
  3. Continue along High Street.
  4. At traffic signals turn left on to A4161 Castle Street.
  5. Continue along Castle Street across River Taff passing Millenium Stadium on left.
  6. At traffic signals turn right onto A4119 Cathedral Road, you will see a Petrol Station on your left.
  7. Continue down Cathedral Road, Sophia House is on the right before Sophia Gardens.
